“I started to race mountain bikes when I was 12 years old, and a few years later at the age of 15 I concentrated purely on racing downhill. I continued racing and doing competition till the age of 22 which is when I felt I needed to change my way of riding and leave the competition scene behind. It was at this time that I met Elina Sirparenta who is a famous ski photographer and we started doing some shoots together. It was then that I decided that I wanted to focus more on this part of the sport. In 2006 I moved to British Columbia, Canada and I stayed in Whistler for the winter 06/07 and then the summer of 07. I am now back in Whistler, the best place in the world to ride MTB, which is one of my homes... Vince.”
